WE ARE LIVING IN A DISPOSABLE WORLD…

Where it is easy to just throw something away than repair it. Over 500000 tons of textiles and leather are sent to the landfill in Australia each year, and some of these materials takes over 200 years to decompose! Some other items just simply are hidden in cupboards for years, waiting to be used… simply because it’s not current or fashionable…

I created VINTAGE WITH A VENGEANCE to challenge myself to create uniquely different and incredibly beautiful pieces from these unwanted, discarded, and forgotten materials.

Each of these materials then becomes the KEY, the main inspiration for my design.

Some of my KEY pieces come from all over the world, from many different countries, and end up FUSED TOGETHER, creating amazing textures, colors, and moods. IT IS MAGICAL!

Each of my pieces is UNIQUE, never to be repeated. Hours and hours are spent placing them together, creating harmony. Once they are sold, you will never see another one exactly like it. These pieces can’t be repeated because of the uniqueness of the materials I use.

Each has a story to tell and for me, it’s just incredibly exciting to see them come alive.
