Thrifted with a true ’90s attitude, this prom dress was the dream. I fell in love with it immediately.
The bones were already there — it just needed a little more edge.
I reworked the skirt into a dramatic bubble shape and reconstructed the sleeves, giving them more structure, volume and attitude. Taffeta bows add that extra touch of fun, while the XL detachable bow at the back brings the drama.
And then there are the accessories — because with this dress, more is definitely more. The oversized white lace frill collar creates a striking contrast against the black, making its own statement. Long, sexy black gloves finished with bows complete the look.
She doesn’t scream for attention.
She quietly demands it.
Mysterious. Dramatic. Very ’90s.
