Description
This little stunner began life as the top of a 1980s wedding gown.
The workmanship was phenomenal — beautiful beading, incredible shoulder detail and so much character. I fell in love with it immediately.
It took me a little time to work out how to transform it without losing the features that made the original so special.
Once reshaped, I added delicate bridal lace, reworked the sides and refined the shoulders, keeping as much of the original craftsmanship as possible. The back was finished with button closures and additional beading.
I’ve paired it with my tailored corset to create a complete look — a little bit bridal, a little bit couture, and completely reimagined.
From something once worn, to something ready to be worn again.
